cottage poem.

a weekend away
we drove two hours north,
the plabs got together
good times were put forth!

arrived near orrilia
we put our stuff down
sat down in the hammock
there was nowhere a frown.

twas just friday night,
it wasn't a bore -
especially when
i hit the screen door!

saturday came
i woke to a snore,
i looked out the window
the rain, it did pour!

we sat around chatting
and started a game
some looked with envy
it sure wasn't lame!

great meals were provided
and fun did abound
good friends and good convo
could always be found.

our weekend away
was more than success
we'll do it again,
in chicago, no less!

Dear sis

I am stunned that you learned how to rhyme.

Who ever thought you would learn after being locked in the basement for several years mumbling incoherently?
